You might have came across many confusing statements/symbols like |=/-\(3|3[]|<, |3|_[]95 etc etc while roaming through chat rooms which are mainly flooded with these,as what they denote or thinking what i have came across!
These are called Language of Hackers.
They have evolved of "Tendency of doing something different" as passion of Hackers...A regular update of this as its application can be found on facebook.com.You can chang your facebook language layout from English to this language from Account settings option.
Just look for L33T Language as you scroll down the Language bar.
In case to be handy I am providing with the dictionary of this L33T here.
